‘Tis The Season

November 17, 2015 | We Love
Dear Reader, the last few weeks have been a veritable swampland of Non profit events-the season is among us and it has taken me away from these posts (which I deeply regret).

So in the vein of ringing in my passion for both the holidays and my pups I bring you our seasonal celebration in the form of Hazel, Santa’s mini-helper.

She is officially ten pounds, growing like the 4 month old weed she is, and none too excited about wearing a Santa cap. But we humans laughed…not completely at her expense but slightly and I have to say, there is no better way to start off Christmas cheer than with a puppy, dressed up, and super cute. This is the best time of year-there is a chill in the air so it makes cuddles that much better. The chill in the air also brings in the need for a variation on our normal dog park excursions. Rain and everything else inclement weather brings makes it difficult to keep everyone dry, clean, and healthy (including me).

“This is the best time of year-there is a chill in the air so it makes cuddles that much better.”

So, as the weather wanes, and the season deepens, we cuddle more and play tug in the house-chasing each other around the couch like it was our personal obstacle course (because it is). The house is warm and so is my heart. Does it, can it, get any better than this?
