Baggage of the Poop Kind

In the side pocket of my purse, the inner pocket of my clutch, folded in my business card carrier. In the pocket of every sweatshirt, and even inside a running shoe…or two. Inside the handle of my car door, inside the left and right cup holder. Inside the glove compartment and under-seat storage. Inside my computer bag, and once, inside the closed laptop. Tied to the chuck-it. Tied to the leashes. Hidden inside my office drawers. On the bookshelf, and also, used as a bookmark. Inside the cars of all my family members, just in case. Hidden in a bush at the dog park. Once, tucked in my bra. In jean pockets, then in the dryer stuck to the drum. Blue, pink, purple, green, black. Eco-friendly and not so eco-friendly.

“In jean pockets, then in the dryer stuck to the drum.”

Smelling of lavender or nothing at all. In carry-on bags, in checked bags, in my gym bag, and in the grocery bags I take to the store, as well as those that I often pay 10 cents for. In the medicine cabinet and on the night stand. In even more pockets. Rolling out of the car door, unwinding off the table, always figuring out which end is the end that opens. Ordered online in bulk, squirreled away for safe keeping, and most often, when I need one-really, really need one-there are none to be found.

Am I missing a spot?
