I’ve had some of my best existential experiences while driving across the United States and I like to think my dogs have played a large roll in that-they fearlessly go wherever I do because they automatically trust that the outcome will be OK. Isn’t that a funny thing? My dogs just assume that all will be well. Thankfully, right now, it is. They have food and water and warm bed(s) (and treats and toys galore). They have love, from me and each other.
